After Stoner won the series opener this season at the Qatar MotoGP, riders from Australia are only able to see Lorenzo won the Spanish MotoGP and look at Repsol Honda teammate, Dani Pedrosa, MotoGP triumph in Portugal.
These results make Stoner standings ranked third, behind 24 points from Lorenzo, and lost 20 points from Pedrosa.
Stoner assess both the Spanish rider became the biggest threat in an attempt to win the MotoGP world title for the first time since 2007. Stoner claims difficult to choose who the biggest threat among Lorenzo and Pedrosa.
"There's no way you can tell who is most dangerous. Jorge (Lorenzo) is a world champion, and who became world champion last year, would want to come back to win, and she led the standings at this time," Stoner said as reported by motorcyclenews.com.
"On paper, you could tell Lorenzo strongest. But, Daniel had a great driving ability. Both are equally strong, so you can not choose who is the strongest today," Stoner closed.
Stoner himself was only able to occupy the third position in the MotoGP Portugal, behind Pedrosa and Lorenzo. Stoner claims suffered a back injury throughout the race at the Estoril circuit.
