The Toronto Motorcycle Show kicks off today

The Toronto Motorcycle Show kicks off today and runs through the weekend.

The Motorcycle & Moped Industry Council, the national association representing the major motorcycle and scooter distributors, as well as the manufacturers, distributors and retail outlets, sponsors the tour.

“The Toronto Motorcycle Show is the premier show of its kind. It’s the perfect venue to introduce new products to the public and the industry,” said Bob Ramsey, President of the Motorcycle & Moped Industry Council (MMIC).

Besides the presentation of all the phantasmagorical new models for the upcoming biking season, the Vintage Road Racing Association (VRRA) will showcase rare racing motorcycles from the past, Yamaha Canada will offer children six through 12 a free opportunity to learn to ride the latest TT-R off-road motorcycles and Honda's Ready 2 Ride seminars will prepare newbies for their first foray into motorcycling.
Well thanks to Inside Motorcycles magazine, visitors to this weekend’s "Toronto Motorcycle Show" will have a chance to do just that.

The Inside Motorcycles Winners’ Circle will feature six race bikes from some of Canada’s top competitors. The hardware will represent a wide range of motorcycle racing disciplines and honour some of Canada’s top racers.

The Winners’ Circle will also include Steven Nickerson’s Honda CBR600RR, which the Hamilton racer rode to a third place finish in last summer’s Canadian National Amateur Sport Bike Championship and the Honda CRF450 of Burlington, Ont.’s Doug Beattie, who won his first CMA Canadian Dirt Track Championship.

Now in its 13th year of publication, Inside Motorcycles covers motorcycling with a Canadian focus. Complete show information is available at www.motorcycleshows.ca or www.sportshows.ca
