Hells Angels for the kids
Probably most of you don't think the words Hells Angels and kids belong in the same sentence. et, as it seems, when a kid is in need, the chapters, rivalries and all the outlaw rhetoric fade away.
According to kmph.com, this is not the first time the Fresno "Hells Angels" donated for the kids at the Poverello House. In fact, this is the 12th year the bearded bikers showed their support for the Fresno kids.
We want to make sure to bring these toys here for these kids to have a great Christmas," Merl Hefferman, secretary of the Fresno Hells Angels was quoted as saying by kmph.com.
Fresno's “Hells Angels Motorcycle Club” members revved up their hogs for a good cause Saturday.
The organization is showing their giving spirit by collecting and delivering toys and blankets for Fresno's Poverello House
The Poverello House is a nonprofit that's been serving the hungry and homeless in Fresno since 1973.
The toys will be distributed on Christmas morning. Poverello House now serves approximately 1,200-1,400 meals a day.
When you think of Hells Angels, most people think of a rough group of guys on motorcycles.
But this weekend, the hard-core bikers showed they have big, soft hearts.
We want to make sure to bring these toys here for these kids to have a great Christmas," said Merl Hefferman, secretary of the Fresno Hells Angels.
The tough guys donated 30 bikes and about 500 toys to the Poverello House for kids whose parents can't afford to go shopping for Christmas gifts.
For the past 12 years, the Poverello House counted on these bikers to play Santa for a day.
