2011 BMW R1200R Overviews
The 2011 BMW R1200R receives an updated boxer engine developed from the HP2 sport. The updated engine has a larger rev limit than the previous SOHC engine (8500rpm compared to 8000rpm), with BMW claiming 110hp at 6000rpm and 87.8 ft-lb. at 7750rpm.
BMW is offering it in two new designs, the standard R1200R and the R1200R Classic.
The other interesting news for 2011 of BMW R 1200 R is that the bike will be available in two versions: Standard and Classic. Compared to the old model we find, in addition to the new engine, updates regarding the chassis and fitting.
New is also the instrument panel which consists now of two analog instruments side by side with an LCD panel in the center surmounted by the service lights.
