West Coast Choppers - James plans to permanently close West Coast Choppers
James opened West Coast Choppers at 718 W. Anaheim St. in the early 1990s. In April 2006, James opened Cisco Burger, 620 W. Anaheim St. “Our business isn’t affected,” Smith said Wednesday when questioned about Cisco closing in light of West Coast Choppers leaving the area. “I don’t know anything about (West Coast Choppers) closing.”
James is part of a custom car business, Austin Speed Shop, in Texas. Jason, an employee of Austin Speed Shop, said that he couldn’t answer any questions when asked about "West Coast Choppers" and James’s plans Wednesday afternoon.
None of the published news stories have stated when James plans to permanently close West Coast Choppers’ doors.
Empires rise, and empires fall. TMZ, the celebrity news and gossip show, reported last night that Jesse James is closing down his Long Beach, California-based West Coast Choppers.
Concurrently, the "West Coast Choppers" shop continued to expand and develop, helping to rejuvenate a Long Beach neighborhood. He even opened a burger joint, Cisco Burger, an eco-friendly establishment featuring Angus burgers and organic veggies.
James popularity reached its apex when he starred in SpikeTV’s Jesse James is a Dead Man. Attempts to contact West Coast Choppers have been futile.
